  A FOOLISH STAG

Once a stag felt thirsty. He visited a stream to quench his thirst. When he bent forward to drink water, he was greatly pleased to ascertain the reflection of his beautiful horns. He was captivated by their matchless beauty and beauty. He felt proud
of them and admired them. But when his eyes fell on the reflection Of his lean, thin and shaky legs, he felt distressed and ashamed of getting such slender and ugly legs. He cursed them for the;r ugliness and heaved a doleful sigh. When he was absorbed
in these thoughts, he heard the growling sound of blood-thirsty hounds right at his heel. He felt the danger he was in. With a bionic leap, he directly dashed and bounded
towards the jungle. Fear of impending death made him run as fast as he could.
Hewas off sort of wind. When he felt himself beyond the reach of the hounds, he heaved a sigh of relief and hid himself during a bush and thus managed to save lots of himself from the hunters.

The hounds followed his scent albeit he was out of sight. They traced him lying hidden within the bush. Apprehending the approach of danger, the stag sprang up but he fell back. the very fact was that his beautiful horns had been entangled within the bush. He struggled very hard to free his horns but to no avail. Then the stag realized that his tender and slender legs which he had despised, did wonder for him.

They carried him swiftly from danger to safety. But his graceful horns of which he was very proud, caused his ruinous end. Then he began to talk ill of his horns. But before he could gable some more words Of curse for his horns, the hounds, with a cry of triumph, received him. His throat was choked by the long and sharp teeth of
the hounds. In no time, he was torn into pieces. We learn a lesson from this story that every creation Of God may be a beautiful piece of art. it's some purpose.

Even, sometimes, the ugliest things prove very useful and therefore the beautiful ones end up to be
deceptive and abominable.
